Please join us at our annual event!
Founders Day will take place on Thursday, May 2nd at 4:00pm in the MPR. At this event we celebrate some of the people who have made Baywood so special.
Founders Day is the day that we show our commitment to the Parent Teachers Association. It is a time to reflect and take pride in our community’s many accomplishments, to renew our commitment to being a powerful voice for all of our children, a relevant resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education. National PTA Founders’ Phoebe Apperson Hearst and Alice McLellan Birney were women of imagination and courage who dedicated their lives to improving the lives and futures of all children. The Baywood PTA understands the importance of this message, and this is most evident when we consider the countless volunteers who work to ensure that this community continues to support enriching programs that contribute to the high quality of education that our children deserve.

Baywood Elementary School would not be the same without the tremendous contributions of so many dedicated volunteers. Each year, on Founder's Day, the Baywood community takes time to recognize volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their service to our school.
