Double Your Impact, at No Extra Cost

Your employer may match your donation, or give for the hours you volunteer. It is one of the easiest ways to fund Baywood programs.

The money comes from your company's budget, not yours, and it is usually a short form on your benefits portal.

Two ways to boost your contribution

Corporate gift matching

Many companies match employee donations to nonprofits, most commonly dollar for dollar. A gift you have already made to Baywood can arrive twice.

Volunteer grants — “Dollars for Doers”

Some companies donate a set amount for each hour their employees volunteer at a nonprofit. If yours does, the time you already give at Baywood can bring money with it.

How to get started

  • 🔍

    Check with your employer

Search your benefits or HR portal for “matching gifts”, “corporate giving”, or “workplace giving”.

  • 💬

    Don't see a program?

Ask your HR department whether the company matches contributions to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Plenty of programs are not advertised well.

  • 📄

    Submit your receipt

Fill out your company's online form. Ours is Baywood Elementary School PTA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 23-7017555.

  • 📅

    Watch the deadline

Most matching programs close their window a few months after the donation, and some close at the end of the calendar year.
