Baywood Book Fair -Thank You!

A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who contributed their time and efforts to make the 2019 Baywood Book Fair, in partnership with Scholastic Books, a massive success.  We are still working on the totals, but know that over 50% of our net sales goes to providing more and new books for our classrooms, reading specialist and the school library.

I’d like to take a few moments to recognize the following people who helped to make this such a rewarding event!

ALL of the teachers, staff, students, PTA Board, Mrs. Driscoll, and Ms. Robert for working with us and accommodating your schedules.

The Baywood Book Fair is Coming!
It's back and better than ever, just in time for holiday gift giving.
Once again, we're partnering with Scholastic to bring a wide selection of books for all ages and interests available for purchase during our 3 day Book Fair in November held in the Baywood MPR. All proceeds benefit our own Baywood LIbrary, making it a win-win for our whole school. And don't miss our PAJAMA READ Wednesday Night!

Student Shopping
  • Students will have the opportunity to browse/shop during the school day at recess and some teachers may choose to take their students during class time.
  • Books start at $3.99 plus tax.
  • We are required to charge sales tax, so please remind your students that the actual cost of books will be slightly higher than the price shown on the book. We will have volunteers available to help students calculate the sales tax.
  • If you send your student to school with money, please provide something for them to safely carry their change—e.g. a ziplock bag or wallet or coin purse.
Support your teacher/classroom with a gift
As always, each teacher (and our Librarian) will have a book bin featuring books from their "wishlist" for the classroom. Families can pick a book to purchase for their classroom or the LIbrary and complete a dedication sticker to place in the book. If you/your student choose to donate a book, be sure to ask for a dedication sticker at checkout.
Open to everyone!
Our Book Fair will be open to the public so invite neighbors, grandparents, etc. Non-students can follow the signs to the Book Fair entrance located on the front side of the school at the Drive-through/Drop-off entrance.
Payment methods
Cash, Credit Cards, and Checks are accepted. Checks should be made to Baywood PTA.
