TK/K Playdate – Thank you to Holly Chirko and Rachel Matzke for organizing a fun and informative playdate to welcome our incoming TK/K students.

Welcome Coffee – Thank you to Ava Shoraka Campos and Rachel Matzke for organizing our Welcome Coffee on the first day of school! It’s always such a great way to kick off the year — catching up with friends and learning more about all the ways to get involved.

Back to School Social – Thank you to Whitney Argyres and Holly Chirko for planning such a fantastic and well-attended event for our entire community. It was a wonderful evening!

Fall Drive & Ice Cream Social – Thank you to Ena Li, Dana Chaiton, Erin Rainaldi, and Gina Alvero for leading a successful Fall Drive and planning the exciting Ice Cream Social. We deeply appreciate your efforts and the lasting impact the funds raised will have on our school community.

Directory – Thank you to Leah Ho, Sanya Kennedy, and Christine Yick for your attention to detail in organizing and publishing our school Directory. It’s such a valuable resource, and we truly appreciate the work that goes into it.

Back to School Parent’s Night Out – Thank you to Emily Delaney and Corinne Fusso for planning a fun evening at the Elk’s! It was a great opportunity to catch up and connect with fellow parents.

Fall Festival – Thank you to Rachel Matzke, Angela Poli, and the Fall Festival Committee for organizing a fun and memorable event. It's a highlight for students and families, and we appreciate all the work that goes into making it a success - rain or shine!   

Wee Care – Thank you to Andrea Zandstra Alves for leading our Wee Care Canned Food Drive and Toy Drive, supporting local families in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring our community together to make a meaningful impact.  

Reflections Art Program – Thank you to Katrina Bornstein and Bonnie Yu for guiding this wonderful program and giving students a chance to share their artistic talents.

Dad’s Club Golf Tournament – Thank you to Jermaine Revelo for planning a fantastic and well-attended tournament that brought our community together while supporting our school.

Spirit Week – Thank you to Suman Motwani for organizing a spirited and colorful week! From Pajama Day to Wacky Wednesday to the new Rainbow Day, students loved showing their creativity and school pride.

Book Fair – Thank you to Dana Chaiton and the Book Fair Committee for bringing us another great Book Fair.  We loved the fresh ideas and beautiful setup - always such a fun community event! 

Logowear – Thank you to Irene Byon and Ava Shoraka Campos for taking on Logowear and rolling out fresh new merchandise. We love seeing students sporting their new gear!

Talent Show – A huge thank you to Nancy Bender and Erin Lautsch, along with the Talent Show Committee—Katrina Bornstein, Leah Ho, Ena Li and Kevin Stephens—for bringing the magic of Hollywood Musicals to life in such a spectacular event. It continues to be a favorite for students and families, and we truly appreciate the creativity, time, and dedication that made it such a show-stopping success!

Dad’s Club Poker Night – Many thanks to Jermaine Revelo for organizing such an enjoyable and successful night.

Auction – Thank you to Denniz Staton and the Auction Committee - Holly Chirko, Mabel Feng, Sarah Gilmore, Rachel Matzke, Alice Lee, Angela Poli, Kenny Ro, Sophie Serenbreny - for organizing our fantastic Ranch Baywood auction events. From the online auction and raffle to the super fun live auction party, your hard work helped strengthen our community and raise vital funds for our school!

Science Week – Thank you to Ava Shoraka Campos and Rachel Matzke for spearheading our very first Science Week! And a big thank you as well to Manvi and Ajay Maker for the "eye-opening" 4th and 5th Grade Dissection Night, and to the Science Fair Committee—Shannon Gilmartin, Meena Ramachandran, and 
Ji-Hyun Park—for putting together such an organized and engaging Science Fair.

Nominating Committee – Thank you to Whitney Argyres and the Nominating Committee—Shannon Gilmartin, Dana Chaiton, Leah Ho, Rachel Matzke, Erin Rainaldi, Kathy Revelo, and Erin Felix—for your efforts in recruiting an outstanding slate of Board Members for next year. We’re excited for another successful year ahead!

Cultural Fair – A huge thank you to Manvi Maker, Naomi True and the Cultural Fair Committee - Andrea Alves, Neerali Kothari, Suman Motwani, Maryam Norton, Khushboo Shah and Ambreen Syed - for bringing our second annual Cultural Fair to life. What a wonderful celebration of the many cultures that make our community so special!

Founders' Day & Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast – Thank you to Manvi Maker for organizing thoughtful celebrations that allowed us to recognize the amazing volunteers and award recipients who help make Baywood shine.

Staff Appreciation Week – Thank you to Whitney Argyres, Angela Poli, Michelle Cirigliano, and Kim Lee for treating our teachers and staff to a week filled with gratitude, delicious treats, and beautiful surprises.

Art Show – Thank you to Katrina Bornstein, Simone Tracy, and Daniella De Lutis for creating another spectacular Art Show. Seeing our students' creativity displayed so beautifully was so special!

Literacy Week – Thank you to the Literacy Week Team - Sarah Gilmore, Jeannette Albrecht, Denise Fournier, Karen Gansky, Yasmine Mariano and Kiersten Sales - for sharing the joy of reading through books, guest authors, and a week full of literacy fun.

Arts & Science Day – Thank you to Achim Bode, Kamal Nabijee, and Joyce Koivunen and the many volunteers who spent countless hours planning one of Baywood's most beloved traditions. What an unforgettable day of discovery, creativity, and fun!

Dad's Camping Trip - Thank you to Jermaine Revelo for organizing the much loved Dad's Camping Trip. The dads and kids enjoyed a fun-filled weekend of adventure and time with friends, while the moms appreciated a well-earned break!

5th Grade Advancement – Thank you to Ava Shoraka Campos, Kathy Revelo, and the entire 5th Grade Advancement Team - Joyce Koivunen, Leah Ho, Angela Poli, and Christine Yick -  for making our graduating students feel celebrated all year long. We will miss them and can't wait to see all they accomplish!

Yearbook - Thank you to Irene Byon and Maggie Howekamp for creating the awesome Yearbook! We are so grateful for this special keepsake that captures the events, friendships and fun that made this school year so memorable.  

Room Parents - Thank you to Whitney Argyres and Katy Bosinoff for coordinating our room parents this year. And a huge thank you to our MANY amazing Room Parents for managing classroom communications, volunteers, parties, yearbook pages, teacher and staff gifts, and so much more! It truly takes a village to make all the details come together and we could not have done it without you.

Graphic Design - Thank you Morgan Aiello for creating such fun logos and materials for our events this year. We love seeing our beloved Baywood Owl customized for each event - it adds so much personality and fun!
