Baywood PTA Funds 2026-27
Where the money the PTA raises goes, and why we ask for it.
Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! Whether you are new to Baywood or returning for another year, here is what the PTA funds.
Public funding does not cover everything our children need. The Baywood PTA bridges that gap, paying for the staff, programs, and enrichment that make a Baywood education what it is.
Our 2026-27 goal: $700,000
To keep our current staffing and core programs running, we need to raise $700,000 across our roughly 500 students — about $1,400 per student. Any amount helps, and every contribution makes a difference for our kids.
Where your donation goes
What we raise splits two ways. Part covers the current year's operating budget; the net income goes to the PTA Gifts-To-School Fund, which pays for staff and programs.

Operating budget
The community events and campus resources that run through the year: Fall Festival, Arts & Science Day, Talent Show, the Cultural Fair, Science Month — the Science Fair, Dissection Night, and Science Assemblies — the Book Fair, and teacher supplies not covered by school supply lists. It also funds our two fundraisers, the Fall Drive and the Spring Auction.
