DONATE STOCKS, ETF, MUTUAL FUNDS

If you donate appreciated securities to Baywood Elementary School PTA (EIN: 23-7017555), there are two benefits. First, you avoid paying capital gains taxes on the amount of the appreciation. Second, you can still deduct the full amount of the current value of the stock as a charitable income tax donation. Please consult your tax professional for advice.

 

Note: Many corporates support Stock Donations as eligible donation for Corporate Match. As the corporate match would double the impact of your donation, please check with your company for the match eligibility and guidelines. DONATE IN TWO STEPS

 

STEP 1:

 

 

STEP 2: (Do one of the following: A or B or C)

 

A) There are two processes involved. First "complete this form (option 1)" and email/fax it to Stock Donator, Inc. Then contact your brokerage firm and donate stocks to the organization account listed under the section "option 1" in the same form.

 

OR

B) "Complete this form (option 2)" and email/fax it to Stock Donator to share your brokerage firm details with the Stock Donator. Stock donator will reach out to your brokerage firm and complete the transfer process.

 

OR

 

C) "Complete the request online here" at Stock Donator website to share your brokerage firm details with the Stock Donator. Stock donator will reach out to your brokerage firm and complete the transfer process.
